They seem a pretty good bunch. All love us and hate them up the road. Wembley should have a great friendly atmosphere.

99.9% of them are decent folks, I am pretty sure they are okay with Sunderland fans as they can relate to us after the similar struggles they endured prior to UAE billionaires showing up

Manchester City fans are exactly what it says on the tin.... From Manchester!!!!!!!!!
Nah, they're not. They are also from Stockport, Bury, Macclesfield etc and all of the other small towns around Manchester that have their own teams. The only difference between them and Man U is Man U have an extra 20% or so that come from outside of the area.

Same as Utd then.
No.... Utd fans are from Outer Mongolia..[DOUBLEPOST=1392284211][/DOUBLEPOST]

All lies

Oh no they haven't.... I've always been told by SMB that they are from London, Ireland or Asia.... Please SMB somebody tell me the truth....!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!

Think of it this way. On top of already having fantastic support, how many kids torn between who to support over the past two decades would have opted for City? Not many.

Not at all. The majority of Man Utd's support is from in or around Manchester. They've always had great support.
I seen it quoted somewhere that 80% of Man U season ticket holders come from within 40 miles of Old Trafford. As they get 75k every game, that is a large amount of local fans, but it also leaves a sizable proportion of 'out-of-towners'.

Also bear in mind the amount of other league teams within a 40 mile radius of Manchester who their fans have chose to overlook (the same applies for fans of Man City).

Reet, the "Factually Correct" brigade....

Before we go any further, I'm well aware that Utd have a large local support... I'm merely massaging the City fans egos, by using a long standing dig at Utd...

Over and out.....? Can we move on?

80% is still approx 60k fans. Salford is in a fairly decent location for people outside the area to get to, unlike us who might as well be a principality .

I've got loads of mates in Manchester and the support is roughly 50/50 amongst them, mind you the city fans do have a lot of time for us even though we keep beating them, they owe me a f***ing fortune lately £10 x 6 x however many games  and the city lads are saying they are really looking forward to Wembley and having a good time with our lot ;)

Whos the safc fan on there saying Poyet has got us playing effectively but not pretty to watch??
