I’m not saying anything as I’ve said above, it could be true or it could just be bullshit, there’s no proof either way.

Taking it to the extreme I could say “I had dinner with the Blackburn team on Monday and they said Kyril doesn’t give a shit about SAFC and thinks Speakman is a god” there’s as much proof that that is true as this Blackburn commentary teams quotes are true.

I appreciate I’ve gone to the extreme but just making a point.

The incident is emblematic of a malaise that seems to run right through the club - the state of the ground, the ticket office fiascos, kit and merchandise fiascos, all if which were evident last season. Theres no proof, you're correct, but that shouldn't stop the club investigating it.
It's not a sackable offence but it could result in a lower disciplinary action.
Nothing wrong with asking all those in the frame if they support Newcastle, if anyone says that they do you just ask them outright if they made the comment.
There's no way a mag would deny being a mag, if he then denies he made the comment you just keep an eye on the fucka.

FWIW nothing would surprise me at the minute with our club.

I listened to the Blackburn commentary for the entire game. They were quite low-key for the whole game considering what was going on in front of them and I thought they did a good job and were quite balanced. Why on earth would they make that up and broadcast it. It just makes no sense.

Without definite proof it’s nothing more than hearsay.

Wouldn’t even know where to begin sending it to them, then there’s the job of getting them to actually acknowledge it.

Best bet is to probably bring up in the next supporters meeting around the club staff showing professionalism in future.

It’s not a good look for the club and might actually result in something being done.
How many other clubs has this tool expressed his hatred towards us to ?
 
The more I think about this the more it is pissing me off.

If I went into Tottenham to report on Sunderland , and a member of staff respected enough to be in a position to greet me said
“ I am Arsenal , hope you beat these. Do it for Niall Quinn “ I would probably look at him like a piece of shit on my shoe. I might even ask him why he was working there.


If this is the culture running through the club , then it needs rooting out. These knackers will no doubt have access to young impressionable players , never mind other staff.

I think if someone like Tony Mowbray had if heard it , he would be out on his arse. Benno and Barnsey will know who it is.
