Big trouble next season

Disagree totally. Angulo has given it a go every time he's been on whereas Talbi simply doesn't. Talbi has been a total flop whereas Angulo has promise. You seem to not have noticed that every winger in the league has to do their defensive duty. Our season has been better than could ever be imagined and if you're not optimistic for the future then I'm at a loss. Have a look at my post above - Ghisolfi has literally just said we can't stand still. I can see both Talbi and Diarra go in the summer.
Agree. Talbi poor and one-dimensional for me and had high hopes for Diarra but not clear what he offers.

Not sure if that is correct. If we had said we'd have 40 points with 9 games to go at the start of the season we'd be amazed. The fact is that we lack good enough attacking players. Brobbey is decent and Angulo looks promising but beyond that who is good enough. Traore and Mundle always injured, Isidor not good enough, Talbi not good enough, Adingra not good enough and Mayenda probably not good enough. This WILL be addressed in the summer. I wouldn't be surprised to see Diarra and Talbi moved on.

Nail hit on the head there mate.
Wingers and forwards struggle in our system. The wingers are Wing backs whose first job is to defend and keep shape. We are so slow in our build up play the opposition is set and can just stand the winger up. I do agree maybe they aren’t at the level but sitting so deep and so slow in our build up doesn’t help. Talbi was lifting today, narrowly challenged by Diarra as the worst player on the pitch.

People keep saying "it's no coincidence" but then have absolutely no idea or insight of what it is that the coach is doing to make it happen and why he isn't capable of changing this thing if it even exists.

Yes, that is a fair point but those players I mentioned simply aren't good enough for the premier league. The objective this year was survival and 40 points. Next year the target will be different and we need some better quality in attack which will alow Le Bris to be more expansive.

The type of wingers we want would cost an absolute fortune imo. We ask a lot of them.

I hate watching this style as much as anyone and I've complained about it over the last couple of years, but let's be honest here, the attacking players aren't good enough or close. Yes the style isn't helping them but the good attacking players in this league go for £60m + we have had to buy prospects / punts. It's worked to an extent but we can't really expect them to be as good as seasoned PL pros like the ones they have to play against each week. Hopefully next year these players will be back-ups and the Championship ones will leave, it's how we have to build.

I'm not convinced that RLB is the man for next season, but if we keep him I can live with it (Providing we don't just roll over for the rest of this season)
Pretty much sums up my feelings. I m not convinced either but like or loath his football he has achieved what we wanted. It would be harsh if they pulled the plug, would I be upset if they did. I m not sure I would be.

It’s not bed wetting or jumping the gun when we question the manager, we’re nose diving in performance levels like we did last season, we’ve scored 1 goal in open play in 8 games, is that acceptable?
I think playing thoise games without our best player has been pivotal in the drop off of form. And today we were decimated by injuries.

The striking difference today and a lot of games this season is how many players had in and around our box when they came forward in open play and how few we had.
3 or 4 crosses in the 1st half went towards the back post no one there coming in or trying to come in. Sadiki pulled a ball across between 6 yard and penalty anyone of 3 or 4 Brighton players could of cleared it with ease not one of ours to be seen.
may not have the forwards but without bodies in the box or getting forward its nigh on impossible to score with any regularity, which is why we don't.
