Got absolutely pissed in Newcastle earlier this year and was stopping in the Travelodge, the staff gave me control of the remote for the big telly in the bar and all the rest of the guests then had to sit and watch Big Trouble in Little China

Class John Carpenter film. Bombed at the box office. As did another of his superb films: The Thing.
Fair enough, It's not for you. I think its class, similar age, but i love an old school comedy.

Watched it on the back of BHC, Trading Places and Coming To America. Totally different Eddie Murphy film and wasn't my cup of tea.
Few of his did to be fair. Probs my favourite director back then. AOP13, Halloween, the fog, the thing BTILC, EFNY were all classics

Fair enough, can see what your saying. Airplane is a different type of comedy tbf, basically full of dry humour.
