If we get Europe next season how many are going to travel away regardless of tickets?

Me and my mates have already said we’ll do that, there’s no way on this planet i’d get one i’ve not had season ticket since second L1 season and the other lads have about four BCPs between them

So we’ve agreed we’ll travel regardless just for the carnival atmosphere and even go in some home ends, anyone else on board?

Yep, will have to do a couple of games certainly

We’re just discussing travel at the moment.

Given conference league destinations are obscure, and transport links from the NE aren’t the best, could the club charter planes to get fans there, which you could buy a ticket on through the club?

Fans would likely save money and the club could stick 5% on to increase revenue. Teams charter jets for players, so there must be a few A320’s lying around.

I would like to go to Larnaca but I don't know if flights even go there let alone wherever Larnaca is. Then there is the fixtures. I don't go on holiday till about May time for about a week. Next week is an anomaly. Never been anywhere for 2 weeks. Longest I have been away for is 10 days.

You never know. Not all who go to away games could afford the foreign travel and time off work. It may be easier than you think to get tickets.

Why would you want to go somewhere where you don't even know where it is

I have never even been to an away game here in the UK. Not much chance of me getting a ticket for a foreign game if the chances of me getting a ticket to somewhere like Aston Villa is at best minimal.

For years I’ve had to watch the usual suspects taking over a place and I am so jealous.
Let’s give someone else a go to show what we are about.
Ticket or not I’m going to sing my heart out.

I’m hoping if we qualify then we get a game in Prague. Will be pretty much guaranteed a ticket.

At the risk of being shot down...

I hope they overhaul the BCP system a bit. Its nion impossible to get away tickets but you can't get points without tickets and aye the usual suspects will say where were you in league 1. makes nee difference, its always the same people who always get first dips

We’ve had 3 years running in Europe now. In the conference, it’s usually easy to get tickets in home ends and sometimes, hospitality packages aren’t too bad.

The biggest downside (for me anyway) is having to be on your guard because European idiots think it’s the 1970s. In our 3 years, there’s been a fair few incidents, ranging from driving around in cars and taking peoples flags at knifepoint to attacking pubs when they’ve emptied out and many things in between. I even saw a video in Amsterdam of a father and son attacked by about 20 and given kickings at a train station.
