Bid rejected for Clarke

Does this forum actually have any constructive things to say or is it just everyone loves to be a bit of a bully 🤔
You want constructive? Ok! I think for your own wellbeing and the benefit of other users you are best staying off here for a while. It's clearly not very good for your mental state and is painting you in a particularly bad light lately. Take some time out, spend some time with the family....walk the dog and clear your head.

Of course if a team who finished miles ahead of us, are in the Premier League ,and can offer him a lot more money have a bid accepted, he isn't going to turn them down.

Burnley have probably been informally made aware of that, and hence why they keep bidding.

All we can ask for is that if we don't accept a bid he remains loyal, committed and doesn't kick up a stink. Everything we've seen and heard suggests that is the case and that his attitude has been spot on, and that whilst he won't turn down the move, if a fee isn't agreed he's still perfectly happy at Sunderland.

I was until I logged on and found the usual pile on
It's not mate, i keep out of all the negativity towards you but honestly, just take a breather and stop looking for bites mate. It's obvious that's why you log on lately. Just talk about the football and stop looking for arguments, it is really tedious and repetitive...for your own good, just stop it...you never know, you might enjoy it on here mate👍👍

You do encourage it mind. A disagreement with one person and you use the usual "best fans in the world". What do you expect that to result in?

Come-on mate, be honest with yourself, you do that as you know it guarantees replies.

That's it tho, 90% of your posts are just the same old "best fans in the world" etc. It just gets on peoples tits mate if i'm honest. I've tried to give you a bit of advice mate, take it or leave it.👍👍

This 100%. The Burnley forum seem to think £15m is a ridiculous price. I think they need to wake up and realise it's no longer 2010.
Not sure why they think £15m is ridiculous.

He’s very young, and had over 10 goals and 10 assists if I remember correctly. Also got 3 years left on his deal.

They’re in for a nasty shock re prices of other players if they think that’s ridiculous.

I do wonder that if Burnley keep
Coming back with new offers, they’ve been given some encouragement somewhere
Along the line.

Look what they paid for a lad whos played no higher than league one. Clark was one of the best players in the championship last season, is still super young and has a decent length contract. In what world would we let him go for anything below £20m plus when you think of the sell ons and addons that will trigger when he's sold too.
