Bid rejected for Clarke

There are some right Fannie’s on here (and even worse on Facey) that will believe every bit of shite originating from some 40 year old virgins bedroom when it comes to a ridiculously low offer being made for a player that most would say was one of the top 6 performers in the Championship.

As if the new regime would even do anything but laugh at a £7M bid for such a player. The same old comments about the club showing no ambition, blah, blah: most of it is made up shit (remember Kollergate) and the club are not involved whatsoever.

From Clarke’s point of view, he has been at Leeds,Spurs and Sunderland - why the fuck would he even contemplate jumping ship to Burnley, which makes Peterlee look like Monaco, at the first opportunity? It’s nuts; if he is to be turned by the lure of a big pay day, I would say that it will not be at Burnley, who are likely to be 2nd bottom of the league ahead of Luton only on what they would pay in wages

Rant over

😂😂😂😂

By far the shittest, most cringe and most desperate fish for likes on this board.

“There are some right Fannies”

Where, where are these Fannies. This thread is mostly people conversing about how much we may get, or why we should keep him.

But of course that doesn’t fit your narrative and your desperate need to use that phrase. Seen as your so desperate I’ve added another like for you.

I’m outraged only the Scotch on here should be using fanny and bawbag as their terms of attention.

There are some massive fannies on here. I sometimes think people deliberately misunderstand things just so they can have a moan

I am not ITK obviously. But I get the feeling he will stay. He's been bitten on the arse once by jumping in both feet first with a bad move to the Premier League, and I personally don't think he'll do it again. He will at least stay for another year of the 3 he has left to try and get there organically with us.
Like I said, not ITK, just trying to use some logic on it.
Probably wrong. Hope not.

Quite odd being a safc at 60 -was with a group of other “young uns “ my age having a coffee and every one safc daft ( well just daft ) but isn’t it great talking about the heroes and optimism all round .
All renewed -all looking forward rather than back -happy with manager -loving this crop of players and everyone said it’s best footy since Reidy ( season ticket sales seem to back up the optimism)
Hope we keep the likes of Clarke but if not get good fees for talented players that 18 months or so ago seemed a long long way off
One Caviat-it is Safc so …..Hope not though HTL

I think staying another year is the sensible thing to do. He's happy and playing the best football of his short career. If we don't go up next year, he can command a bigger wage than he would now as he would have a shorter contract and would only be 23. If we go up, he's a Premier League footballer and will likely be paid the going rate anyway without having to uproot again.

For the sake of a year staying somewhere he's comfortable it's win-win in my book for him.

Agreed - although admittedly I'm a decade less experienced 😃.
Really enjoying the games and following the journey this last 18 months.

My feelings exactly marra.
Let's hope we're right.

Yeah there is 100%, however it’s used completely out of context all the time on here to fish for likes. It’s pathetic.

When people are moaning when we go a goal down, and come out with sill negative comments, or spit their dummy out, aye use it.

In a thread in which people are having a perfectly valid conversation on an internet forum, it’s f***ing silly and a complete cliche of the smb.

Think you maybe wrong on this..If the lad had any sense and I'm sure he does, he will stay another year to see what happens then.. Better clubs than Palace and Burnley to go to for me.

I think palace might be a decent move for the lad, but aye you are right. Burnley would be a mistake.
