I agree. The club seems to be much more professional in football and financial matters these days so I would expect them to extract the true worth on any sale. Having said that, I think they see Clarke as key to next year's push so I don't think they would be looking to sell unless a really silly offer comes in.

I think if 3 or 4 teams are already bidding it’s likely that he’s high up their priority lists. They’ll probably come back with improved bids against each other and enough teams are in the chase that even if one or two drop out, one of them will probably hit our valuation.

We need to 'replace'/ back him up early in case a non refusable bid comes in last minute . £25m no good in the bank if weve got no left side until Jan

Everton ffp can't afford Clarke full stop
Wolves ffp can't afford Clarke full stop
Burnley will not pay £20 million plus
Brentford like to pay low & sell high
Palace might pay big money for Clarke

I can't see Clarke moving this transfer window.

He wont go this season, unless someone bids over £25 million, based upon, nothing :)
