our board need to stand tough against the PL boys now - we don't need to sell.
if the player wants to leave, then hold the buying club to ransom - 50 million for one of the best championship players is not crazy in today's market. Possibly the best left winger.

Surely the super rich KLD and Satori are not desperate for the money. Do you think if they got £20m for Clarke they would sanction £20m worth of signings?

From what Romano said we're trying to keep him and the £20m value is pure guesswork from people as far as I can see, but unfortunately regardless of the model every player has his price and we're not rich enough to just reject any offer just like 99% of other clubs.
 
Just heard from a friend who is very close to some internal people a Burnley, said that he heard they were sniffing at the 15m mark. Not itk or anything just passing on what i heard. The guy works with the corporate staff at Burnley so may know something.
