We’ll not be able to match a PL club if they want him enough that’s the reality. All on if the player wants to stay. He might do. He’s been to Spurs and it didn’t go well so unlikely to be star struck by the clubs mentioned. Might want to play every week and get us promoted rather than be a squad player rotated more.
 

I think if someone bids £20 million well sell. Would like to hold out closer to £30 million in todays prices but think £20 million and he’s gone

This. Runs all day, skillful, defensively aware- and that’s before we get to his strengths - beating men at will, creative, goal threat. And stays fit.
Obvious why he’s attracting attention but if we are serious about top two next year he needs to stay. Another season like the last and he’ll be worth even more.
Don’t think the model requires selling at a good price at any time. If it suits us to delay cashing in while we get replacements in and achieve our goals you’d like to think that would be done

£9m :lol: Rumours suggested we paid £10m, although unlikely, however we'll also owe Spurs a percentage no doubt which will also need to be factored in.

I'll be absolutely gutted if we lose Clarke mind, even more so if it's for a paltry few.
 
All depends on whether the player feels Premier interest is real and a huge increase in wages is achievable in which case he'll want away.
As mentioned above we can't be matching EPL salaries.

I think he will go unfortunately. Can't see us getting close to their wage offers.
