Best XI: Our 7th placed teams

Central Defender
We have finished in the top 8 of the top flight three times since 1955. In 1999-2000, 2000-01 and 25-36. And all three seasons we finished 7th.

Most of us on here will have watched us in all three of those seasons. What would be the best XI of players from those three squads, based on their performances during those seasons?

Here's my pick.

Thomas Sorensen
Nordi Mukiele, Omar Alderete, Emerson Thome, Michael Gray
Nicky Summerbee, Granit Xhaka, Don Hutchison, Enzo Le Fée
Niall Quinn, Kevin Phillips
Subs: Roefs, Reinildo, Ballard, Arca, Makin, Schwarz, Sadiki, Brobbey, Talbi​

Genuinely think that's a Champions League team, two actually world class players in Xhaka and Phillips.

Sorry but SKP was never world class
He couldn’t replicate his form in other teams or at international level
Reinildo has far more quality than Gray, even Arca was better than Gray

All about opinions etc
