Third would have to be Young Guns 2. Mind growing up in the 70s and 80's watching Westerns was a common occurrence. Honorable mentions to The Alamo, Drums Along the Mohawk, and Last of the Mohichans.
An excellent question by the OP

Either The Searchers or The Outlaw Josey Wales for me

Ask me tomorrow and I'd probably have a different answer
The Outlaw Josey Wales must have seen it 30 times, got the DVD but still watch it when its on ITV 4. Clint is cool as fcuk in it nearly as much as in Magnum Force

Which version, Christian Bale/Russell Crowe? The 1957 one with Glen Ford and Van Heflin is very good and just pips it for me.

I rather like High Plains Drifter, just personal preference. Johnny Guitar is enjoyable in its total madness.

Yeah only seen the Bale / Crowe version will have to have a look at the '57 one.
Pale Rider is another one for me.
And not forgetting The Dollars trilogy

Pale Rider is great viewing, but a fairly shameless rip-off of 'Shane'.

'The Hateful Eight' is worthy of a mention, but its another vote for 'Unforgiven' for me. Eastwood and Hackman squaring off, two of my favourite actors.
