Best sport film?

I couldn't call it the best but honourable mention to Miracle about the 1980 US Olympic ice hockey team - they did a lot of work to recreate the hockey scenes authentically. And Kurt Russell's Herb Brooks speech is one of the best locker room scenes around.

I’m watching Moneyball now. I love this film.

I also love Dog Town and Z Boys.

A great film about the skate/surf scene in California.

Another one for Rollerball, Moneyball, Draft Day and Field of Dreams.

Little Giants (Rick Moranis)
The Football Factory.

Also Bodyline (tv series not a film like but worth mentioning)

I like the factual ones. Some great sport stories out there without making them up.

For me? 42 (baseball film) and Rush was fantastic. Boxing films are generally very good if they stick to the facts.
Good shout with 42. That the one with Chadwick Boseman as the 1st black man in the MLB?

Rudy is a canny feel good film about the NFL.

I liked Tin Cup and Field of Dreams too.

Some really good sports films made.
