Aye they were bad enough to deal with business-to-business so I can only imagine. The customer service with lyca mobile is absolutely dreadful.
Lebara is fine though.
LycaAll of those smaller MVNOs use the big 4 networks' infrastructure, so if you can't get a signal with them, how are you going to get one with EE/Vodafone/Three/O2?
You'd get the same signal with Lyca mobile as you would with your EE SIM
Try U-Switch. I got a sim only deal on there with O2 for £8 a month, which at the time, the same offer was £20-odd via O2 directly.
Not knowing what you're on aboutLyca![]()
I was with Lebara and it was terrible. Quickly went back to Three. These small companies might use the big players networks but they are nowhere near as good.Aye the dregs of it. Was told this about giff gaff and it was hopeless.
I agree. They’re just letting them have their dregs and that’s obvious. Just pay the extra few quid for peace of mindI was with Lebara and it was terrible. Quickly went back to Three. These small companies might use the big players networks but they are nowhere near as good.
Don't they have a minimum spend of £10 credit every 60 days & deduct the balance if not used?If you're like me and really hardly ever use your phone outside of Wi-Fi coverage, I've got a 1p sim where you pay 1p per text/minute/Gb of data. It automatically tops up £10 when your credit is running low and I get a top-up email about every three months. Been using it about five years now and not had any bother.
O2 are buggers. My sim only contract is ending but they don’t offer new customer rates to loyal existing customersTry U-Switch. I got a sim only deal on there with O2 for £8 a month, which at the time, the same offer was £20-odd via O2 directly.
Lebara's partner network is Vodafone, so the signal strength/quality would have been the same as someone on Vodafone.I was with Lebara and it was terrible. Quickly went back to Three. These small companies might use the big players networks but they are nowhere near as good.
