Champagne Moment - world cup winning moment


I honestly can’t decide what was better World Cup final or Leeds

I was lucky to be at both but thinking back I was more of a mess during World Cup, the 6s, the deflected runs, the run out. It’s so hard to call.
 


Bowling spell- Plunkett brilliant in WC final.

Innings- Stokes Headingley obviously, his World Cup final effort not far behind either mind.

Batsman- Stokes

Bowler- Archer

Catch- Denly at Lords/ Stokes sa

Champagne- absolutely smashing the Aussies in the Semi final.

Good call on the Semi final forgot about that, about a perfect days cricket as you can, unbelievable, total and utter dominance and arrogance with a party atmosphere alongsid eit

Can't disagree with any of that.

I loved 2005, but that summer of cricket was simply incredible and I cannot see it being surpassed. What a time to be alive, really :)
