Gerald Sinstadt was a brilliant commentator.

Kenneth Wolstenholme was the only TV football commentator when I was growing up in the 1950s. To be honest, I always thought he was a wee bit "posh" and condescending........ however, listening now to his commentary on vintage games I'm convinced that compared to some of the pompous windbags we're saddled with today, he was a genius!!!

Used to like him, but the way he goes on about newcastle turns my stomach. Plus I turned against him on talksport with his partnership with Laura Woods, the pair of them just giggling about stuff all the time, had to switch it off, can't stand her either.
I'm actually struggling to think of any I like, I switch on at kick off, switch over at half time, and switch off at full time.
