Haha. I don't think Saudi football is that bad, the national team try to play out from the back football but just don't have the skillset to do it. I mean like it worked against Argentina who won the world cup mind so its not deafening bad.

I mean you do see shots hit the corner flag, literally. But I'd rather watch them try to play football than watch Wycombe Wanderers play Akinfwa in a 10-0-1 formation and get promoted on projected points.

The way golf folded after all the righteous talk what a year or so ago? Is right up with the biggest climb downs in the history of mankind. f***ing coward money grabbers running that sport, if I were a golfer that refused the bag and a.year later the league was bought I'd never trust those running it ever again.
 
As good as they are City will they'll miss Silva + Gundogan massively.Kovacic is decent but nowhere near as not as good.
 
I’ve said it before and I believe it. Now, PIF are getting these players to go over there, they won’t need Newcastle anymore. Be surprised if they are still owning the club in the next 5 years and are 100% invested in their own camel league
 
Looks like PIF are trying to have their fingers in every top league of the football pie. They'll probably use their 4 Saudi clubs to switch players around leagues so that they keep in close competition with the top clubs in each country. Probably start buying or have an investment in more European clubs in the next few year like they have with Newcastle and Chelsea.

Seems the world of sport are powerless to stop them, or their governing bodies are given that much of a payoff, that they're just not bothered to fight.

You’re kidding yourself marra, they’ve enough dough to own clubs in all the European leagues, fund their domestic league and sportswash plenty of other sports. They’re just getting started with their vision 2030 stuff, trillions of dollars to throw at it with greedy administrators and owners ready to take it.

No chance mate. If anything they’ll use the Saudi league as a middleman to punt players round the other clubs they own at beneficial terms or get them off the books to help FFP. They basically have an interest in Chelsea now aswell as the mags. They ain’t giving up their European flagships

Clearlake have a 60% stake in Chelsea, and are fronted by Todd Boehly. There is a clear relationship when PIF have invested billions into Clearlake, thus enabling Clearlake to bankroll Chelsea.

I'm sure all transactions and movement of money is purely legitimate and all above board.

There doesn't need to be formal arrangement for someone to have a "financial interest". Its morally corrupt, and they are essentially market fixing by inflating the fees and salaries.

sigh,....todd boehly diesnt work for clearlake. He works for Eldridge Indurtries. Clearlake funds have a 60 per cent stake in Chelsea-and Clearlake is run by Egbali, the other controlling partner in Chelsea. Boehly's firm own some proportion between 0-40 per cent of Chelsea-he is the Amadan Staveley of the operation.
The Saudis have not invested in Clealake, they have put some caspital into one of the funds run by Clearlake. Its not the same Clearlake fund that runs Chelsea. Clearlake cant spend the money ina a fund how they want, thats called fraud.
Clearlake is a business that manages money for other entities. The Saudis have invested alongside other people in a Cleearlake fund. All investors in a fund are treated equally or its not a fund and someone is going to prison.
