Is that a yes or a no?

Everyone knows League One players go for frees season after season. You only have to look at the rest of the division to see that.

Not Sunderland though, buying their way to the title. Something we were absolutely hammered for.
Buying our way to the Championship have a look at the all important net spend that you lot love to bang on about.

Just the Premier League matters now then?
So do we include the Scottish championship now as well then?
Ligue 1 is massively inferior to premier league so hardly a comparison is it.
If he’d been a big player for PSG then I’d accept it but he started 5 games man

I just hope they both make fools of themselves.......... They usually do.
Despite you being one of the recognised experts on that subject on here, and to be fair there are quite a few of you, I think you are wrong about these two.

Also finished third with Nice the season before.

Ligue 1 so massively inferior that a team that wasn't even champions dumped out the one of the leading lights a few years back.

Suprised he never went to barca or real

Already played for the Barca of the North mate, would have been a step down.

Who are the Barcelona of the north?

Ok then so Ligue 1 is on a par with premier league.
The sheer straw clutching in order to defend Rafas honour is becoming desperate now mind.

6pts from 45

RAFA :cool::cool::cool::cool:

Just checked

18/19 League One - £1.795m spent in the whole division. Sunderland have spent £810k so far (45% of total expenditure)
16/17 Championship - £314.3m spent in the whole division - Newcastle spent £56.8m (18% of total expenditure)

I think we can see why you have deflected onto something else, Bear lad.

No, but it's not on par with the Scotch league like you are insinuating.

This and this.
f***ing idiots. Comparing managers competing in completely different enviroments.
Considering We've been utter turd in the top flight with half a dozen managers should tell you it's a different beast altogether.

Agree strongly.

So a silly comparison then much like my Scottish premier league one.
Pleased you agree.

Are the mags seriously suggesting we’re “buying the title” when our total outlay is £800,000 :lol:, and our income from transfers is over £20 million?

At least we've identified that Jack Ross is better than Rafa, haven't we?

Still, this place thought Grayson was better than Rafa last season and even I'd agree that Jack Ross is better than the Graydog.

You've spent nearly half of all of the total outlay in the division. What would you call a team doing that? What if Man City had spent £550m this summer and Boro had spent £90m? Would they have been buying the league?

Your second statement is skirting dangerously close to NET SPEND territory, mind.

I’m also not comfortable with this Jeremy Kyle guest wannabe @T_Bone being in my corner here either.

What he knows about football you could fit onto one of the many gravy splashes on one of @Sima replica shirts!

Given that all mags seem to bang on about is net spend I thought I’d talk in a meaningless stat you’d understand.

Also if we’re “buying the title” then presumably that means the player we bought for £600k must be tearing up the league yes?

Don’t worry though - I’d be concerned if our manager spent £128 million and ended up relegating us twice as well.

You must have misunderstood my post because I am not and cannot ever envisage being in your corner. As for football knowledge, there are many on here more knowledgeable than me, no one on here as arrogant as you.
Don't forget I was watching Sunderland AFC while you were swimming around in your Dad's bollocks.
