It's a non story. Most clubs haven't made signings.
However, their fans are so f***ing deluded, he will leave at crimbo as they will hound him out for being in the top 6.
 
defence wise they need to spend 100m to keep out of the bottom 6.
I just don't see it.
Lose a few games at sid james ( which they will ) and fans will go off it.
Their defence was shaky in the pub league.

Absolutely it's the name, said all along if Nigel Pearson, for example, had exactly the same run at the end of the season they were relegated no way would they have clamoured for him to stay.

Of course they don't need that. They need a few well scouted players that are organised and tactically disciplined in any/every given game. That could cost no fees at all in theory.
However Benitez's recent record as manager suggests he's more likely to take the 'chuck £100m at the problem' approach.
