Top seven + Pakistan also qualify for Champions Trophy so we'll need to win two of the last three realistically. They probably want him around for that run in also
 
Seems to me that he's been a bit reckless taking the injections and continuing to play on a knackered knee, hopefully this will sort it but part of me is doubtful.

As I posted on the other thread, I'd be more than happy for them to rest for three weeks rather than go to Pakistan playing 50 over cricket, immediately after tours to NZ and India, and in the run up to the English season
 
Time for them to hold their hands up a bit, admit they might’ve got it wrong and just send him home now. Sooner he gets the surgery the better.
