Ben Stokes post ashes series

Few questions no matter what the score maybe

will he go back on retiring and play in the ODI World Cup ?

will he play in the hundred ?

will he go straight to surgery on the knee?

will he ever be physically capable of bowling as he has in the past at Test Level ?

last one

will he ever play a competitive game for Durham again ?

ill leave you with that to ponder as I don’t know any of the answers

He's effectively done as an all-rounder. He won't have completely corrective surgery until he's retired.

He will play as a batsman and captain in test cricket as long as he can.

I doubt he bother with 50 over. It wouldn't surprise me if it's the last world cup.

That’s a good point about the 50 over stuff

lot of comment about it being the last and players are clearly wanting to cash in on the t20 franchises stuff

I’m gutted that Stokes has not been able to bowl as i feel he would have been very handy at times this series

His knee must be like a shaker maker mould.

will he go back on retiring and play in the ODI World Cup? Could see it happening

will he play in the hundred ? He’s already ruled himself out

will he go straight to surgery on the knee? Aye I think so

will he ever be physically capable of bowling as he has in the past at Test Level ? I don’t think he will. I think he’ll be captain and a specialist batsman. Emergency bowler

will he ever play a competitive game for Durham again ? Would love him to do a Colly. More likely to go off cramming in franchise cricket imo

Sadly I don’t think he will ever be the full all rounder again.

No to the World Cup.
Hopefully yes to surgery.

No to Durham appearance and can’t say that bothers me to much as he’s not really a Durham player any more. Most full contract internationals hardly are.

Cough cough collingwood.

Alistair cook anarl

I think stokes would be up for it but it massively depends on his fitness when he retires from international cricket and sadly that doesn't seem promising

I can see him retiring from International cricket by the end of next summer, have a year out with surgery and rehab, then being Durham captain for three years and absolutely bossing county cricket and bringing us another Championship and a T20 cup.

I can see that mainly in my dreams like!
