two seasons ago i got three first ballers and a second baller in four consecutive innings opening the batting in the senior league. I should have had counselling

I think it's more the fact they are a bunch of plastic Durham Mags! Players seemed alright.

Aye loads of scum tops about. Couple were talking about how well they are going to do next season when I went to the bar was going to bite but rose above it

Couple of year ago was running slighty late on my way to Shildon my lad was batting 8 for the firsts rang me to say he had been promoted to open and was out in the second over. Long day in the sun for the both of us that day

Getting out first ball is a shite feeling, hasn't happened for a while, I just make sure no matter what sort of ball is bowled that I get a great big stride in and play a foward defensive. Always first ball.

Worst I've seen was playing for Houghton 1sts years ago,lad called Craig got timed out, he was down to come in at 7 and as the wickets tumbled he was sitting in the car park on his phone to his lass, looking back don't know why someone else wasn't padded up ready to go. But can't think there is any worse way to get out, as he literally never even got in

One of our lads got timed out when he was at crook in the carling cup finals day only time I have ever seen it

Being a specialist number 11 I'm used to first ballers (think I got 4 or 5 last season) and I f***ing hate it.

Getting out without facing a ball though is taking the biscuit
