The fact we seem to be central to his wider and growing sports group Bia makes me think not selling but you never know. Also the way he celebrated getting into Europe just looked one of achievement and pride rather than an extra return on his investment but again just surmising or wishful thinking on my part

Why would he sell us. Biggest league in the world. Once we’re established then stock will be far higher. Plus he needs to grow us as well.. internationally etc. sky is the limit.
It’s not a wild thought that he might sell now. For all we are hopeful that we will kick on again there’s every chance that this is our peak and the point he would get the most money for us.

As well as that, he bought the club in league one where he was paying buttons for players, how long will he be able to fund buying £30m+ players? He might want to stay long term but the reality is we are light years away from where we started and it might just end up being too much for him

This does tie in with what ive heard from what id like to think is a reliable source. This concerns me.

However, the thing i keep coming back to is that hes supposed to have sold Xhaka this 10 year plan and long term strategy. Surely that doesnt include him selling 1 year into it and betraying what he told Granit.

That was my first thought " i wouldnt like to break it to xhaka " 😳

Exactly, his day to day interests and investments are all sports related, this isn't some side hobby.

As for people saying he could sell for peak profit, who said we've peaked? With the right signings we could win the Europa, be playing Champions league football next year and extend the stadium, all things that would vastly increase the valuation and all entirely possible..

Well, it’s what investment banks do.
Granted I don’t know many football club owners, but every business owner I’ve known to sell has used a corporate finance company. Which could be a division of said US bank, but as far as Im aware, the bank has only got involved when a load of money dropped has in.

Different worlds I suppose

One of the main sources of revenue for investment banks is M&A/advisory/deal making

Seems reasonable to me, like @Nedved said, id assume this will be the point of maximum profit. Thats not to say we cant go higher, just the investment required would blow up to do so.

But that whole logic is based the idea that a 29 year old multi billionaire whose whole life revolves around football will sell because profit is his motive.

If he has a purchase for Marseille lined up, then it would make sense, but sell at this point to buy another club or leave football altogether makes no sense to me.

I wouldn't hold it against him at all if he did sell up. L1 to European football: the ultimate buy low, sell high. And I'd applaud him on the way out.

I think the point about selling a 10-yr plan to Xhaka is a good one, but we've essentially rattled through much of it at turbo speed.

All that said, there has to be far safer, more reliable, less intensive, less knife-edge investments to be made than a football club, which suggests he's in this for more than pure profit.

I have zero knowledge of his intentions for the club, is it for the thrill/purpose, or for the money, or is it somewhere in between, so I can only go from my own perspective, which is never buy a football club, but if you must, get out when you're a hero and at the maximum point of profit.

Old news, already stated they are focusing on the next season.
But even if it was true I think the interested parties would want to take us to the next level which is Champions League and maybe even keeping KLD in charge of operations, so I wouldn't worry either way.
