Beavers



They were released on The River Otter, near where I lived, and are breeding. I was never lucky enough to see one, but I have seen wild otters, funny as I now own an otterhound puppy, mind if he is typical of the breed I have no idea how they used to catch otters, just a big goofball

One of my favourite breeds, beautiful dogs. I was talking to a fella in CLS park a while back who had one and said there’s less than 50 in the country now. Not sure if true or not but they’ve died out since otter hunting was banned.
He also said one farm has most of the UKs population, somewhere down in Wales as that was the last place they were used for hunting mink.
