I'm watching the final. Some gobshite commentator was talking live to the Strikers' wicketkeeper (Carey) just after the ball was bowled and driven. The keeper had to break off to take the return throw, which he missed. Possibly because he was gobshiting with the commentators.

This isn't what cricket is supposed to be.

So Gillespie finally gets a bit of luck and finds a T20 formula that works, it's all about the bowling, even when their batting hasn't come off their bowlers have won them a few games. How he never grasped that at Yorkshire, especially as a bowler himself I don't know, preferring to bring in numerous expensive batting failures. Anyway good luck at Sussex. Not that I'm jealous at all as they embark on a golden period in their history while we stagnate and slide under the "leadership" of the Chuckle Brothers after pissing off our greatest coach in our history (how or why I don't know but there's something they're not telling us)
