  • Gary Duncan: 'Sunderland Anti-Fascist Coalition' is now officially working with the National Union of Miners (NUM). This is the breakthrough we needed to start mobilising serious forces against fascism . I am absolutely cream-crackered from activity, but it's all been worth it to unite with the great NUM:oops:. Watch this space for details of a major event coming soon.[/B[*]Gary Duncan: By the way, getting the backing of the NUM opens up the possibility of mobilising all trade unions. I AM A MASSIVE BELLEND!!

The SMB's leftie posters are some of the biggest fascists on here.

They stalk every thread waiting for the chance to jump into any discussion with accusations of racism, bigotry etc. They really are the biggest hypocrites - they consider themselves liberal and the bastion of tolerance, when in fact they are intolerant of anyone who doesn't toe the line with their self-important view of the world. They want to discredit and silence opposing views using cheap, cliché-ridden insults. How liberal of them.

Spot on mate

Re: Durham Miners Hatred Campaign

Hate speech surrounding issues of (but not limited to) sex, orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, ability or age will not be tolerated and bigots, fascists, and Nazis will be banned immediately.

Comments showing prejudice regarding sex, orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, ability or age are NOT welcomed. If you have a point, that means you can make it without making an appeal to oppression. This means comments such as "What a nice ass!" or "How fat is this person?" or "Palestinians are barbaric" will get the banhammer forever and ever until you rot in your grave.

Another post by their mod, irony overload:lol:

The Durham Miners' Association says it will only end protests over Paolo Di Canio being named Sunderland manager if the club joins an anti-fascist campaign.

Will somebody tell these numpties that the miners as a union ceased to exist in 1984...

How many times do they have to be told...

There are NO MORE F**KIN MINES OR PITS LEFT for them to be self appointed representatives.

Giving the miners a bad name, few self serving twa*s on executive salaries supposedly speaking for the working man.

Clowns like him helped Maggie get in charge!

A touch extreme old chap

Re: Durham Miners Hatred Campaign

Add that to the fact that they went on strike over a winter causing power cuts that ended with thousands of old people that couldn't heat their homes and many died because of it, how very socialist of them as they were all on good money anyway.

Woooo Back off we were fighting for our jobs Misled I agree but the Tories did worse than what was predicted

I have also seen Fascist salute given to Scargill at the DMG

And I dont support what the DMA are doing

Dont drag me down with your hatered

Re: Durham Miners Hatred Campaign

My Dad (71) is a former Durham miner, he wasn't too sure about the new manager appointment last Sunday, but now he is quite looking forward to seeing how he gets on. I asked what he thought of this flag thing, after getting verbal ear ache off him for a good ten minutes, the gist I got was that he thinks they all a load of stupid arseholes who have nothing else better to do with their time.

Another bandwagon jumper......................

1. There are absolutely no similarities in either the social or economic situation at the time if the Beer Hall Putsch. It was those extreme conditions and the bitter political competition between the left and right wing parties which provided the breeding ground for National Socialism, lets not forget the apathy of the rest of Europe who were to busy looking after their own interests at the material time.

2. Don't assume all the 'younger generation' have the mindset you describe. They are not historically illiterate - maybe its just that they have a life and dont want to engage with someone they find boring or intolerent of their age group, maybe they've been told not to talk to strangers, or it may be that modern history is now part of the A level/further education standard - as with my local education authority.

3. For Fascists, read any extremists......... FFS

Subsequently, please consider your rationlisation before coming out with such arrogant, abusive and narrow minded bullshit.

Disagree about that completely.

If you look at some of the economic forces sweeping Europe and the political incompetence many leaders are showing plus the diminishing role democracy is playing (EU anyone? Technocrats?) I think it is very easy to not appreciate how severe things are getting. Look at the percentage extremists got in Greece.

I would be surprised if we don't lose a few European democracies over the next decade/

And some one who wants to keep his big pay packet rolling in

I wish I could vote him out of a job

Being an ex Miner

Thats a point I think I will write to the DMA when his next Vote to be leader is

They need to take a step back and take a bit perspective on the issue

SAFC don't need their support and they have no obligations to do anything the miners say. Whilst the club is a huge part in the region and it's an honour for both sides to be associated with one another through history, the miners are pushing for something that has no relevance to the situation, fighting an issue that doesn't exist and trying to make decisions for the club that they simply don't have the power to do

I imagine at the time people felt democracy was failing them, much like some do now. So things became extreme in both directions i.e. communism vs those preferring the totalitarian/fascist doctrines. Then Adolf happened who was a whole new level of fooked up nuttiness.

I'm no historian like, but that's the impression I got from the odd documentary.

So anyway 4-4-2 tomorrow then???? :-D
