Bazball or whatever you want to call it

Herr Lipp

Central Defender
2nd ODI today chasing 271.

If you bat for 50 overs you probably win the game.

England bat like it's a T20 and get skittled no where near.

It's like trying playing like Pep when you have Andy Carroll and Duncan Ferguson up front.

Embarrassing
BBC coverage is also so bad in terms of insight and critique

Another glorious thickball defeat.

To be somewhat fair to the players they never ever play any 50 over cricket. Even Brook, who is a good Test player and good T20 player, hasn't managed to find the balance.

These are all top of the county game players, surely they can play 50 over cricket. Some of the shots being played are embarrassing, must be coming from the coaching/management team.
If you are the bowling attack you'd be f***ing livid that you've done your job and it's pissed away by every batsman playing himself out.

Salt played just missed the edge 3 or 4 times before being caught behind. Aussie bowlers must be pissing themselves laughing. Just keep bowling the same ball and eventually they'll nick one, weren't even good deliveries

I really really want to like Salt, but most of his innings are like this.

If a swish of a butterfly wing in China can set off a tornado in Texas, then imagine the carnage a Phil Salt innings can incite now its hurricane season in the Mid Atlantic. They can call it Hurricane Baz.
