When players perform well, bigger clubs will always be interested. I'm not sure there's much to this story, but there'll certainly be interest in the Brobster from at least a couple of Premier League clubs alone in the summer.
I'd rather finish say 10th with standout players we can sell on than scrape 17th with no one standing out and major concerns about facing the drop next season right off the bat.
