He's not treated unfairly, he was just told that no further contracts beyond this season. He's not starting because on current form Ballard + 09 suits us better.

Mowbray is a puppet. It’s disgraceful the way he presided over the treatment of Batth, Pritchard and Gooch. Weak.

Charlie Wyke was POTY, scored 31 goals, and was replaced by Stewart.

Danny Collins was POTY in 2009 and flogged to Stoke 2 months later.

Whatever the reasons, we’ve lost three of our best players from last season in Batth, Stewart and Amad.

Batth was experienced, robust and consistent. Our best central defender last season. Have we improved upon him this window with a ready made replacement? Hmm, we’ll see

he only played 13 games last season
