Batth to Norwich ** confirmed **

You know when posters are quick to praise Speakman for his young untested new signings ?
Who do we blame for letting players like Bath leave ?
He was told not to start Batth, Pritchard or Gooch.

If Batth to Norwich does get done that’ll be 2/3 out the door and it’ll be fascinating to see how the club treat Pritchard.
Why and by who ?

I don't rate the 2 new signings (yet) as a straight replacement for Batth. For injury covers let's not forget Cirkin and Hume both did a decent job in CB before, until at least Alese comes back. Anderson is proving his worth at Shrewsbury too.

One of the new signings hasn't even kicked a ball for us yet has he?

Who's told you that like?....Tony himself? What a load of bollocks 😆

There's defenders in the bench other than Batth not getting picked over Onien. Mowabray has told everyone why he's picking Onien over them. I think the bloke is mental with this tactical change, but he's sticking to it.

I dont believe he was told not to select players personally

Mowbray isn't shy about moaning so he'd have just said how it was
He did say in a press conference earlier in the season that none of the three players would be starting games. This was not long after the club announced none of them would be getting a new contract and Mowbray said he would review this if any were still at the club when the window closed.

Maybe Batth wants to leave rather than him being forced out?

Perhaps he wants to leave as he is not being guaranteed first team football and the club have been honest enough with him, and at his age he wants to play and wants a longer term contract which the club don’t are unwilling to offer.

Club are therefore may be being fare with him and listening to any offers.

Just sold their best defender on deadline day and the club are looking to bring in a 32 year old defender who is currently 4th choice at Sunderland. I can see why they'd not be best pleased.

He shouldn't be 4th choice though really.

They're going on like they're signing a centre back from Hebburn Town.

Can't be many players of the year who dont get a chance at the start of the following season and forced out the club. Especially from players who played at the club the season before.
