Barry Bannan or Dan Neil

Bannan has been and still is a good player who can majorly influence a game but never quite very good. Neil still learning his craft but has potential to comfortably surpass anything Bannan has ever achieved. At present Bannan’s experience might just give him the edge but Neil is fundamentally a more skilful player.

Great player bannan was hoping he would move on when they went down , more than capable in the championship. He always seems to have a good game against us and we give him the space to play we need to get in his face tonight from the off

Bannan is a quality player, but at 32 his best days will shortly be behind him.

Dan Neill is obviously not currently as good as Bannan, but he’s 20 and an England under 20 intl. He has more potential.

In many respects it’s like choosing between old Sunderland and new Sunderland. Would you pay big money for the ageing pro to have one last pay day for the potential hit of short term success. Our do you stick with future potential but accepting you have to be patient.

Dan Neill 10 times out of 10 for me.

What's with this Barry Bannan love in? Hes never striked me as a great player at all. Tidy maybe but the way some are going on as though hes a world beater

Oh and Dan Neil all day long

I’m sorry but I’ve just read Barry bannan is a phenomenal player that reminds someone else of David silva 🤣

He’s a good player playing below his level but I’d consider Kevin de bruyne or joelinton… 😏as a phenomenal player not Barry bannan whose highlight was once playing in the premier league for a struggling villa team

Bannan is 'class' and 'phenomenal'. Jesus wept.

So good that Wednesday aren't even in the playoffs.
