Bardo or Chimbo

Bardo was phenominal compared to what were used to now however was also bang average "when we had him".

Still think he was one of the best RBs we've had at the club in 20 odd years

Chimbonda was pretty woeful. You could tell he didn’t give a sh*t about playing (for us).
My view too, mate. All he was interested in was keeping his Ego overinflated tae F*#k and picking up his pay check. Saddens me though, that of all of Keanos signings he was one who I thought looked a great asset (on paper at least)! 👍
For us, Bardsley was very solid for a long time. Chimbonda wasn't very good for us.

Odd comparison.

Bardsley vs Makin would be more of a contest.
Makin was a tragic loss, like. Edged it over Bardo IMHO👍

Aye but my point is, a lot of fans are easy to slate a player when in fact they are decent and we should know we won't buy better. Especially under Ellis Short and Donald
We tried replacing Bardsley for years.

There were significant periods were he wasn't decent. Just because we finally replaced him with Billy Jones doesn't excuse that.

I know the conclusion is Chimbonda was the better player, but Bardsley better during their times here. However, Bardsley didn't put in a better display for us than Chimbonda did for the 2-1 home game against the mags.

What is refreshing is the change of opinion on Bardsley as a whole. Most weeks on here he was absolutely rinsed. A case of looking back and realising I guess.
