Similar to the omission of Cook, I just don't get it. Tremlett gets good players out. Its hard to defend even 280 without wicket takers.

Bresnan and Shahzad aren't part of our first choice test XI though; with Broad and Tremlett playing there's just about enough variety in the attack.

However, an out and out quickie would be very handy for us; but there's just no one out there with that sort of pace so we have to make do with what we have.

Could be Saj's time to shine once the England selectors realise how 1-dimentional Anderson actually is. ;-)

I dunno, I like him. Looks like he loves playing the game, not so much at the moment however!

He just apologised there in fairness. Harper is a right bell end though. Shit umpire and loves himself. When you see him interviewed you can tell he loves being a minor celebrity (in his own eyes).
 
This game is just slowly slipping away from England here. The only way we look like taking a wicket is via a run out now.
