Pretty much what the Thompson the new ECB chairman was alluding to the other day when he said that England may not be able to control their centrally contracted cricketers because of franchise cricket.
Be interesting to see what happens with this new South African t20 league its badically being bankrolled by the IPL. It could really effect Australian cricket in particular if it takes off.
