Seriously its shit and needs to stop.

Doesn't affect the match going experience in the slightest, but sounds absolutely naff on all the playbacks on every media outlet in the world. Not a good look.

When I tell neutrals to watch the replay back because the atmosphere on Saturday was so electric and loud. I want them to hear what I hear. I.e the Roker Roar, not some people with the equivalent of physical tourettes.

I agree with your point but not the way to solve it. This is why we have the fan consultation groups and through which this should be handled.
Washing our dirty linen in public and finding something to protest about is a little bit mag behaviour if you don’t mind me saying.

Keep smashing the metal lads and lasses. When I hear it it makes me proud and I know we have just scored. I will set up a go fund me page for the 3 people who signed the petition so we can get you some ear defenders. We have waited for f ing years to get to this sort of place. Make as much noise as you can as we are making an impact on how people see us. Sing to your voices are sore.
 
It sound's shit on the highlights.
I don't recall it being a thing before Covid, maybe it's always been a thing, but the mic's are in a different place and pick it up more.

except its on change.org which has the square root of F all and the same power to actually change anything, its a polling site to say you're unhappy with something pointless
 
Had a pretty bad ear infection for the past week or so, and had two lovely blokes tell me to fuck off when I asked them politely not to do it, right next to me.

Sounds brutal on the TV when you watch the highlights back. Non-league stuff.
 
There was a shot of Kevin Phillips (against Arsenal?) where it looks like he's watching the game at the SOL from a dirty subterranean cellar (complete with stained walls and a scruffy fuse-box) - could it be him banging to get out.
 
I can only imagine that you have been struggling for some time to find something to moan about during the team's current performances.

Perhaps we could also press for the club to provide a glass of sherry to be served at one's seat upon arrival with some small canapes and a warming half-time mug of Bovril at half-time. Just plain old standard mugs, china ones would be over the top.

Nah not having that. You can't equate singing your heart out for 90mins and banging like a neanderthal after we score. The 2 might be linked by passion but they are nothing alike. Singing until your voice is horse adds to the atmosphere, the banging doesn't add anything.

You are right though, it does make an impact on how other people see us. I've heard 2 neutral people on the socials mention how shit it sounds this week.

Good idea, I don't know why this hasn't happened already though. It's not as if it's a new issue.

Why do you want to parsnip it? It's not as if the debate takes the shine off anything at the moment.
