Banging on the back row….

I always thought it was someone banging on the metal stairs at the back of the East stand with his feet. Remember sitting there with a friend once and the sound seemed very close.
 
Agree 1 million percent about this. Does my head in. Sounds absolutely shite. Next season change them to rubber so they can’t bang on them
 
Us South Standers get the blame for everything. It’s the red executive box metal signs that get banged, and considering there are none above the South Stand it would be quite a feat. It’s the SWC/West Stand. I don’t mind it personally, it’s better than silence.

You would hate to come to ours when the back of the stand is used as a drum.
Can’t think of anything negative for you about last night.
I would have loved every minute and struggled to sleep.

It was one of those that won’t be forgotten.

It's definitely a bloke in the SWC. I've watched him doing it. It was actually him who got the original slow beat going for the Diaaallooooo song and he kept it going for most of the 2nd half in that game.

But if you listen to any of our goal highlights over a canny few years you can hear it clear as day. It's a proper tinny sound rather than a deeper thud the lads at the back of the South Stand create banging on the roof.

Aye, it isn’t just one either but one area in particular bang in the middle of the corner it seems most prolific. Most of the boards along the back of the corner are dinted now after years of being smacked like fuck. :lol:
 
Any chance we can replace the tin display boards from the concrete wall around the hospitality boxes

I’ve watched sky sports back and it sounds terrible, it drowned out the goal celebrations and could hardly hear the commentary

The tin bashers didn’t stopped for about 2 mins, ruined the celebration footage

Apart from that, happy fecking days! What a night
