If it’s bad news on Ballard but Mukiele is fit enough to play it certainly mitigates the blow.

After Ballard’s injury against Burnley in the 2nd game of the season Alderete & Nordi formed an excellent partnership. We beat Brentford, held Villa with ten men, won at Forest and got a point at Palace all with that centre back pairing.
