Cooked my chicken donner/shawarma tonight. Marinated over night and baked in the oven (chicken thighs), fried off some onion, jalapenos and a fresh green chilli and lemon juice. Served up in a naan bread (freshly baked from city store on Chester road) with lettuce, tomato, fresh onion, pickled red cabbage and a squeeze of lemon along with some sauces. Lovely stuff.

Tried my hand at Cajun chicken with peri peri sauce and spicy Mexican rice tonight. Certainly better than popping into the chippy on the way home!
