Bairstow to be dropped from the test squad


Dropped from the one day/T20 squads too.

Looks like this might be the end of his England career in all formats.

Which makes it seem a bit odd. The ECB obviously felt he was going to stick around and suddenly he's persona non grata.

Of course he may still get back in at some point but age isn't on his side.

T20 very understandable...wonder if his mobility in the field gas cost him his ODI place.
I mean they dropped Malan for his age

Wonder if he’ll actually announce international retirement or just fade away without a send off like Ian bell did
