away fans at the sol...

they are loud and must give there team a lift like preston yesterday im a season ticket holder in the north stand and although its been debated on here before i wish the club would put the away fans in another part of the ground and our supporters up there it would make the atmosphere in the north stand ten times better.

Don’t worry no one else can hear them

They're easy to keep segregated up where they are. Then whether they bring 60 or 6000 there's been bugger else sat up there so it doesn't affect home seating.

Why can’t they go in the south west corner and along the west stand? One segregation fence and partition doors are already there, they’d just have to install another set in the west stand. Out of shot of camera there too
Why would you want to move away fans to one of the only parts of the ground that make a bit of noise? It makes no sense. Put them in the North East or south east corner if moving them.

Move camera to east stand. Move away fans to south east corner. If they don’t bring man it doesn’t look shite on the telly and the Roker end will be bouncing.

So remove seats from the most profitable end of the stadium for a camera with the inconvenience of away fans right next to them aswell since you'll have to leave some of it unallocated and piss long term fans off so the South Stand might bother to make some more noise.

Great idea...

If the South Stand wants the away fans there as no-one else gives a toss really then they can move for it imo but it shouldn't be in the East stand at all including corners. The family stand should be in the North East corner regardless, it's stupid having it where it is.

Shud be in a corner in lower bowl like Boro done with us

Can we not put them above and below themselves, like at the Etihad. They can throw on stuff onto their own supporters whilst not being too loud as they are separated.

No idea what you’re on about. I said move the camera and the away fans, that’s it.

If you'd been in the East Stand on Saturday, you'd know why the camera is in the West Stand. Half the season, it would be pointing straight into the setting sun. Cameraman's nightmare.

All that's doing is shifting the problem to somewhere else. They're whare the police want them to be.
They're where Ellis Short wanted them to be. Then Donald decided it would cost too much to move them.
Can they play up front?
Very good.
Clappy hands emoji.
Theyve never been in the corner. I'm sure the club have said that they could be where they are now or in the south stand and no other area is equipped enough to deal with it.

It took us about 2 years to get police to agree to North stand upper from memory and cost alot of money.
Short paid for it. That's where he wanted them.

It’s a shame that we are put up where we are - the noise doesn’t travel that well imo.

A good few of our fans have remarked on how quiet your fans were on Saturday, and I agree… but that’s not the fault of your own because I know your lot are a rowdy, passionate bunch that get behind your team. It’s because we are just so far away with that downward sloping roof, we just couldn’t hear you at all.

Look forward to 6,000 of you coming down to Deepdale in May. Will be a great atmosphere.

Put them back where they were originally - the south stand

It’s the same every week. The atmosphere in the south stand is usually excellent but the away fans simply can’t hear it. We also can’t hear the away fans, similarly we couldn’t hear the noise generated by the Preston fans. Where the fans are leaves both sets of fans thinking the atmosphere was shite.

The noise doesn’t really travel from end to end. In the south you can’t hear the away fans and in the north the south doesn’t sound as loud either.

I don’t buy into all this moving the away fans to improve the atmosphere. The team and the fans need to feed off each other. Our best atmospheres in recent times have coincided with either big important wins or excellent all round performances.
If the singing end currently requires the team to be playing fantastic before they'll sing, thrn surely makes sense to have the away fans close by to get them going as well?

I commented on your numbers being good, but didn’t hear any singing from the other side of the ground. I’m on line with the 18 yard box at the south side. We rarely hear much from other teams.
