away fans at the sol...

The noise doesn’t really travel from end to end. In the south you can’t hear the away fans and in the north the south doesn’t sound as loud either.

I don’t buy into all this moving the away fans to improve the atmosphere. The team and the fans need to feed off each other. Our best atmospheres in recent times have coincided with either big important wins or excellent all round performances.

they are loud and must give there team a lift like preston yesterday im a season ticket holder in the north stand and although its been debated on here before i wish the club would put the away fans in another part of the ground and our supporters up there it would make the atmosphere in the north stand ten times better.
Some are, some are not.

Still think they should stuff the away fans into the south west corner. Smallest part of the ground. Patrol box looks straight at it. Easy to police

Fans being noisy creates atmosphere ,whichever side does it
Noise is noise
Plus they knicked two of our songs

Sitting bang on half way the acoustics are definitely better up there, even when teams bring a few hundred you can hear them better than when allot more are clearly singing in south stand

if it helps, i couldn't hear them at all from the south stand, or rocking end, or whatever it's called
This. Surprised by the comments on various FB posts about how loud they were for 90% of the game. If true, the acoustics in the stadium are pants and no wonder the SS can’t be heard by some

I sit half way in west stand and apart from 10 minute spells both halves they were nothing special .
Same as our support tbh

The way pne play doesn’t help

But would it solve the punctuation problem? 🤷‍♂️

Apparently trouble outside the ground is down by two thirds since they were moved. That's why the police want them where they are.

Not a surprise really. By the time the majority of them make it to bottom of the stairs, a large chunk of the home support is away from the stadium

And they're too knackered to do anything.

Also, most of our fans will be heading back to the city or the Metro. Opposite direction to their coaches, and far easier for crowd control.

Before, they'd come out of the South straight into people leaving the SWC/West
