they are loud and must give there team a lift like preston yesterday im a season ticket holder in the north stand and although its been debated on here before i wish the club would put the away fans in another part of the ground and our supporters up there it would make the atmosphere in the north stand ten times better.

All that's doing is shifting the problem to somewhere else. They're whare the police want them to be.

You do realise if you move them you will have the same issue in another part of the ground :lol:

We've took twice as many to away games sang our hearts out and been pummeled on the pitch
 
Why can’t they go in the south west corner and along the west stand? One segregation fence and partition doors are already there, they’d just have to install another set in the west stand. Out of shot of camera there too

Not really. When they were in the south stand, the south west corner would regularly drown out the away fans. Also, having them in the gods has an impact on the acoustics.

That said, I can’t imagine the north stand will regularly have a good atmosphere either way.

if it helps, i couldn't hear them at all from the south stand, or rocking end, or whatever it's called

It wouldn't. We had season tickets there for North Stand when it first opened. 10yrs or so, we tried to get atmosphere going every home game. We eventually gave in after all that time and move to South Stand. My favourite time having season ticket in North Stand like. Crack was brilliant. Had Peterborough branch in row in front and had great banter with them. Few people who post on here around us aswel. Loved it.

It's only in the North Stand where they sound loud. Get the North Stand singing and you'll drown them out. I haven't heard any away supporters that come anywhere near the noise of our away support. If you move them the North Stand will still be quiet. Same situation as at any ground. I'm watching Stoke Watford and Stoke supporters are silent.
