Away Fans at SOL Update


I am amazed the EFL have ok'd this, demanding money with menaces is a crime... "Give me all your coins or you can't come in and make use of that £25 ticket you bought...."

They may not have any option, if they are being told there is a real risk of injury

The fact it’s now being communicated as “temporary” probably means the club are already preparing for the move and are simply buying time to keep the safety committee content
 
I expect some sort of reaction from the cardiff fans after this tbh, the welsh lot still think its 1745 every time they play in england.

That doesn't say SE Corner mind, just moving the family stand. If they move the away fans to the South Stand where the stadium was built for them then then family stand will still need to move as you don't want that next to the away stand for obvious reasons and they'll go for the cheap option rather than rebuilding underneath the East Stand and probably needing more turnstiles aswell as there's not enough in the East stand as it is.

Why ? If people still turn up with change after being pre warned you can’t enter with it then they are thick as mince.


The stadium is already contactless pay so nothing to see here for me.

I mean it is the EFL like so combined with our upper management and directors you see more professionalism at a circus

I'm pretty sure that's what it means though, moving the kids to accommodate the away fans
 
Be plenty of delayed kick off with the maximum away allocations having to check 3000 purses and wallets . Be absolute pandemonium at the away turnstiles

I'm not sure mind, could easily be

Away -> Singing Section
Singing Section -> Family Area
Family Area -> North Stand somewhere

It'll be a nightmare if someone like Newcastle comes having the away fans going in the corner there for segregation and be surprised if the police would approve it tbh.
