I've seen all since Ant Man at the cinema (except Doctor strange). I started watching them in order from the start, got to first Thor and was really disappointed as it was boring compared to Ragnork. So looks like we're going to have to watch one every night in preparation. Is the 2nd Thor any better? Even Chris Hemsworth couldn't pull it round for me :oops::lol: . I'd miss Loki though I know he's a baddie but he's a good baddie.

The Dark World is probably the worst out of all the Marvel Movies, only plot point that is relevant to the MCU is that it is about the reality Infinity Gem (the aether). If you like Loki you should see Tom Hiddleston’s video turning up at comic con a few years ago, in full Loki gear hamming it up, brilliant to watch .... :lol:

I am a big a final fan of original The Infinity Gauntlet storyline that this is based, so expecting (hoping) a lot of nods to that, Thanos wiping out half the universe, killing off all the heroes at the end, whoever survives has to pick up the pieces in Avengers 4 using the time stone.

I see some American betting sites are already doing Infinity War specials at who will die, with Captain America, Tony Stark & Loki at the moment favourites.

I have a strong suspicion because Chris Evans’ contract runs out in Avengers 4, rumour is it involves the Skrulls, that we find out Cap died in the crash in WWII and that he was replaced by a Skrull (may be way out here but you never know)

Yeah same, was really disappointed after watching Ragnarok first. My boy said it's because the first 2 had a different director and the 3rd was directed by the same one as GOTG so had a bit more humour. The others were hard work watching

James Gunn, acclaimed writer of Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, wrote and directed the two GOTG films and will be doing the third.

The first Thor was done by Kenneth Branagh.

Second Thor was done by someone else....can't remember the name. He did one of the shit Terminators. Terminator 3 or Genesys, sure Salvation was McG.

Taika Waititi, who wrote and starred in what we do in the shadows, did Ragnarok.

The first two had 2 different directors.
Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi not James Gunn.

We’ve watched them all :lol:

Currently about halfway through Doctor Strange so we only have GOTG2, Spider-Man Homecoming and Ragnarok left in order. Watched BP at the cinema twice so we won’t be rewatching that.

Ant Man doesn’t really tie in much with the MCU apart from at the beginning where Hugh Pym goes into the room to be met by Howard Stark and Peggy Carter and the end where Falcon tells him he’s in. He’s in Civil War but doesn’t have a huge part in it (pun intended...)

They’ll not kill off BP as not only does he have another 4 films on his contract but it’s the biggest superhero film of all time so they won’t want to get rid of the cash cow yet!

Best for me are Ragnarok, Winter Soldier and Iron Man.

Which is one from each 'phase' according to Wiki, which is nice.
 
Cap, Iron man, Thor , vision WM and black widow will all get cancelled over the 2 films I reckon... the new avengers will comprise of BP,Hulk,Spidey, Captain Marvel,Scarlet witch, Falcon, Shuri, Ant man and the GotG ( minus Drax)...

Why no Drax? Can't see any guardians dying until after GOTG 3.

Vision is a gonner, WM is a non-entity anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the big 3 make it through, probably Thor.

Weren't they talking about a Black Widow film not too long ago? Probably after WW did well.

Didn't Thanos kill their lass and the bairn and he's out for revenge...just reckon he'll get cancelled anarl...might not be this one but could be next years Avengers 4 which is after GOTG3 or have I got that wrang ?...Sure I read the Russo Bros said to expect huge surprises in the both films

GOTG3 is 2020 iirc, but James Gunn has already talked about how Drax is a father figure to Mantis and how that’s going to develop in the next film as well as that film being one of the big jump off points for Phase 4.

GOTG 3 will be after avengers 4, 2020 I think.

Can't see them killing off any main Guardian. They'll want a GOTG trilogy to make sense if you watch all 3 together. Nebula maybe?
