Australia vs England T20s

Stokes looked badly out of touch today. There again, Australia used the slow ball well.
Talking of slow balls, I hope that’s the last we see of the speculative odd over from Moeen.
First over against a set batsman hammering it was always going to be difficult. Rash got plastered all over the park too.
Good thinking by Josh. Leave such battles for the main event.
Fair enough, though I didn't think an appeal was even necessary. The umpires appeared to get together and discuss it as well?

There were 2 incidents of them cheating yesterday. Obviously the blatant obstruction, but then on a potential catch behind as the review timer is counting down, Finch can be heard asking the umpire did it carry, the umpire correctly didnt answer, Finch can be heard saying "Whats the f***ing point!" the stump mike is then muted

The Finch one was fair enough, the Aussies didn't know if the umpires thought the batsman was out or not. So they didn't know if they needed to review a decision or not, I thought the communication needed to be better from the umpires in that situation.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Wade would have been out on appeal.

Thats not correct, the umpire gave not out, Finch wanted the umpire to remove one of the variables in the review, of course the umpire isnt going to tell him that, its the same as asking "Was there an inside edge there?" before taking the review

I didn't think it was clear but if the umpires had said not out then he was trying to game it.

On a slightly separate note, I think an inside edge is different as the umpire would have said out or not out. Whether the ball carried or not is often one that the umpires have a conversation about so isn't an instant out/not out.

Stokes poor record in t20s continues. All logic suggests it should be a strong format but never really done it consistently.
