It will be poison

I can’t see him playing. I can see him in the Odis but an ashes series, he is out of control

I’ve no wish to watch him at all and personally hope the current Aussie lads do enough for him never to return. I’ve no sympathy at all, it was a matter of time, his downfall and it was all self inflicted

It should not be poison, he cheated desreves every criticism he gets, but if his ban is up he will play imo.

If he does we need to put in perspective it's only a game of cricket.

I disagree. I can’t imagine what the current players think, that no matter how they perform, a man who disgraced himself, on more than one occasion, walks back into the team and everyone should respect that?

Not for me. Stokes missed an ashes series for nothing remember. No verdict, no case being heard. Left out, not considered

Warner does not deserve to play another Ashes series, home or away

That’s my opinion, others disagree, but I’ll not be swayed on this

The man is poison, pure and simple and has proved so on numerous occasions

I think we all agree he does not deserve to be there and that he disgraced himself, but that's a totally different debate to whether he actually will be there.

Dont think anybody disagrees with your view on him,.

However the question asked is will he be there, and imo the Aussies will pick him, the other openers are no where near as good and they need him.

My opinion is they won’t pick him and if I was a current opener for Australia, then what is the point?

I enjoy the debate, we are on opposite sides re his selection

He has failed in England anyway

It's like anything mate, when Stokes was banned, he was always coming back into the side no matter what the other all rounder did, as he was too good to leave out, same applies to Warner.

Now just to make it clear I am not comparing what they did, as Warner was 100 times worse.

I am comparing that they both too good to leave out of their respective sides

An interesting dilemma, similar in many respects to when Pietersen looked like he was going to be recalled. Its anyone's guess as to what happens.

156 for 6 Australia

Paine and marsh out today, still need another 150 or so

An expected win. With Smit, Warner and Bancroft back the Aussies will be a lot stronger.

He is but I just cannot see the selectors not picking him.
