Australia have employed a few basic strategies for getting our players out to great effect. We have shown nothing but the self-confidence we are better and can simply walk on the park and blow them away. 1989 all over again.[DOUBLEPOST=1386943821][/DOUBLEPOST]And of course the elephant in the room - we have too few, quality bowlers suited to taking wickets in Australian conditions. It has rendered our attack as toothless as when we picked one spinner on the subcontinent. We took three out and out 'quicks' in the knowledge the Aussies were going to prepare flat tracjs, but seems not one of them is up to the job. Where is the next Harmison or Gough?

As ever, one or two 'dig in' and this time it's Smith. so from being 5 down for 143, they are 6 down with more than double that amount of runs.

OK, that's not a great dismissal but an 85 opening partnership is good enough.
