Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

Its incredible weve gone into a big test series with a long time absentee in archer, an injured wood from when they continued to bowl him in the icc trophy when he had an injury that aggravated it further, carse who has had issue with injury of his foot all season which kept him out for a while, potts who is massively out of form, stokes again returning from several injuries along with Atkinson and tongue who seem to be hit and miss right now. Add in the spin choices and the fact generally our batting is pathetic, its a complete mess. Bowlers dont even get a rest most games as were usually out within 50 overs

It's been him and Archer v the Aussies this series so far.
it will be his swan song.

He feels the weight of the squad and gives everything and more. But he is no longer a young man.

This tour will be the end of his career. His body will never recover enough, no matter how much he wills it.

A true legend he will always be.

This game yes, not sure archer was anything to shout home about in the other two games. Not really his fault though, ecb put all their eggs in one basket on him. Almost expecting miracles which generates hype thats difficult to live up to after a huge lay off

Gerrin Toungey lad.

Wish this series wasn’t already dead, really fancy setting my alarm to get up early and watch it but just seems so pointless

Did it for the first few when it felt alive
