Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

It's looking like the pre series predictions are looking good atm, down to the the better Aussie attack. England have worked really hard in this test and hung in there..bloody shame they didn't apply themselves when in the same situation in the 1st test.

Unfortunately jack's is looking the pick he thought he would be haha

This England bowling attack is so poor.

Only Archer and Stokes are good enough for this level.

Carse wants sending home (I don't care how many wickets he's taken, he's scattergun and poor - wouldn't get in Australia C Team).

The Will Jacks thing is just crazy. We've been preparing for this series for quite a few years. At what point did they envisage that a part time spinner would be bowling 25 overs on the first day of an ashes test and going at over 5.5 an over?

Why spend so long developing Bashir but then pick Jacks? And I'm not saying that Bashir is good enough, because he's not. Jack Leach is a better spinner than both of them. Liam Dawson is a better batsman and bowler than both of them.

That's a canny rant and I haven't even gotten started on our batters :/
Lad I'm sitting next to got here early this morning and saw the warm up. Apparently McCullum leading slip catch practice for the most. We've played most of the day with one slip and now we have none !!!
That sounds so ridiculous that it can only be true.

He was embarrassed by it himself.

Honking this like.
Stokes is a warrior. His gritty innings was no surprise (And I'm annoyed at myself for not backing him to be top Eng batsman this game).

But tactically he's often poor. Very quick to go to the short ball policy. The amount of times we have an opening, and you see a defensive field and shite deliveries nowhere near the stumps is embarrassing.

I'd have hit the c*nt to Brenda's and walked off for a burger.

Can totally understand why he hasn't been bowling too.. he's done more than enough and he'd be desperate to have a bowl.
