Australia v England, 3rd Test, 16th December , 23.30

I'm flying to Adelaide in the morning for day 3 & 4. At best I'll be looking at seeing the Aussies lift the Ashes on day 4 if it lasts.

Let's face it, this lot are a bunch of weak diletants.

They talk a good game but the least amount of pressure and they'e the cricketing equivalent of apple crumble. At least people can get on with their lives and not waste time hoping something positive will happen. It won't.

Difference already in the bowling this test, a decent spinner and pace bowlers pitching it up. England far too short (again) and with a part time spin option (surprised we didn't bowl Root at all, at least he's capable of holding down an end)

In his defence, he doesn't get to face English bowlers like most others do

It's his record against New Zealand & Sri Lanka that's shocking - 25 out of his 99 innings at average of 10. If he even averaged 12 he'd be over 3000 run now.
